Mold, Asthma and Allergy Investigations

The most common effects are allergic reactions from being exposed to mold spores. These allergic responses can include the following: Asthma, Hay Fever, Irrititation of your eyes, nose, throat or lungs. How much exposure to mold depends upon the individual and the reactions to allergens can vary greatly depending on individual sensitivity. Allergic responses can happen from living as well as dead mold spores. Removal is the best course of action to prevent this.

Some indiviuals can have linfections and toxic effects. Serious infections from living molds are relatively rare but do occur mainly in people with severely suppressed immune systems. Individuals that are prone to reactions and affects from mold exposure cane be the elderly and very young children. Certain species of mold will produce micotoxins that can have serious side affects when certain indiviuals are exposed.
